(and don't worry, the better stuff is towards the end.)

I think I got lazy? I don't know. It was a happy moment that I wanted to capture. A state of contentment that I wanted to put down to remember.... buuuuut.... laziness set in. I probably also had to suddenly leave. Doesn't matter. I shouldn't finish this for a few, rather personal, reasons.

This wasn't intentional.... and then it was. HAHAHA! I was trying to make something out of watercolour splatters, and Dr. Venture appeared out of thin air! Don't know who Dr. Venture is? Then you need to start watching The Venture Brothers on Adult Swim. You're seriously missing out. SUCH an awesome show. This past season hasn't been so great, though... imho.

This is another thing that appeared randomly. Pierce said it looked like someone we both knew, but I assured him that it wasn't. And even if it MIGHT look like her, a little bit, it was COMPLETELY unintentional.
Those two girls I posted in the previous post.... you insert those here. I am not repeating them in this post.

The Drawing Game. I imagine this would be a fun thing to do with other artists that consider themselves artists. You start with a blank sheet of paper and draw a mark or two on it. You do not draw anything completely (like a whole unicorn or something, yeah, you don't do that). After making a few marks, you give it to the next person. He/she then proceeds to put down a few marks added onto yours or not. You go around to each person over and over again until you think your drawing is complete.
This one was done at about 2AM at an IHOP with three boys and myself. They were fairly tipsy, I will admit. I feel that boys + beer + drawing is bound to equal penises SOMEWHERE. I really love doing these with people, though. You never realize how crazy their imaginations are! I try keep my marks similar to theirs, too... for consistency. I don't think that's a bad thing, is it? People get self conscious about participating in the drawing game when they find out you're an illustration major. I feel like the key is making them comfortable and not trying to show them up. They usually come out looking more aesthetically pleasing... but I love all the ones I get to do with people. It's always so much fun.

Oh, Ballpoint Pen, how I've missed you.

White gouache was put down first, then I draw over it and put light watercolours ontop of that because it was out while I was painting. I love sitting under trees in the fall. It's one of my favourite things to do.

This was originally a very very terrible page. But then I draw over it in pen and made it not AS terrible. :D

This was an even WORSE page... but then I covered it in sheets of notebook paper. Ballpoint pen, again. I swear, it's like a monster comes out of me when I use ballpoint pen--especially blue ink ones!! I really like this image. I just wish it was cleaner. Meh.

The page before (that was covered up with notebook paper AFTER doing this) did this. :[ I draw with prismacolor marker... and it bled through. It's a shame because I was really happy with this. I don't know whether to go back over it in ballpoint pen or not.
And Sybil. Just another of my girls I decided to draw. I love love love ballpoint pen sometimes.
