My sketchbook is due Wednesday and I'm finishing up my last 15 pages that I have to due. School is going crazy. I feel like I did so terrible this semester and I have no idea why. It wasn't like I went out a lot or anything. I just... did so terribly. I didn't HAVE to... I was fully capable of making 3 A's and a B.... but, I dunno. I also don't know what my grades are yet, so... meh. We'll see just how horrible I did, I suppose. I'm expecting C, B, A, B. And that would be awesome, considering how shitty I feel about my performance this semester. I really hope it's not worse than that. :[ If it is... I don't know what I'll do.
Be a hermit next semester and do nothing but art all the time and not even talk to my boyfriend?

anyways... these pages are right next to each other. I'll show you my two girls before Wednesday. I've been steering away from pretty for a while. :/
the first, Claurice, was done in pencil and gouache. Norine was pencil and coloured pencil on gouache. I really detest gouache for anything other than this type of thing.

I wish I knew enough about gauche to feel your pain, however I really love the suddle mutations that you put in these 2 pieces, I really hope you get an A on your sketchbook!! XD
ReplyDeleteToma: Thank you so much! the Locker 50B show is actually done by the school every year. A student had the idea a couple of years back, if I remember correctly. They've held mini exhibits in there ever since.
